NY Duck Hunting.

That's what happened when my parents came back from NY.

They came back this Sunday, and OMG I'm really happy with my gifts.

Here have 45 ducks, and some duck accessories. Now something like 150 ducks belongs to my collection, I'm so excited. Not only with the ducks, with my parents too, is to hard stay a week far from them, I know, I'm a baby. HAHA

Now the Chemistry is waiting for me, and I have to study.

Rio 2016

Rio won the competition to host the Olympic Games of 2016, and we are very proud about it.
We expect that this could promote the wonderful city that don't have much visibility in other countries. I'd like that this olympic games would be on the history only for good things, and that the government know how to care of this and only enrich this beautiful city.

Stock Car

Yeah, ducks really like stock car races, especially the racer ducks. Me and my 88 duck had a really great time there, lots of fun, screams, "olas", crashes, and strange things, like when one pilot took the wrong way.
This was a Nextel stock car, my second one, but my duck's first.
When we got home we were dirty and I was burned by the sun, but now I'm good, and my duck clean. HAHA

A Duck Tour

Last weekend I did a tour in my own city. I have to agree that Rio de Janeiro IS the wonderful city, and sometimes we forget it. That's why is so good to feel like a tourist and know many places that I've never were before, Like the Sugar Loaf. Sometimes I think tourists know more my city than I.

My daydreaming duck had a great time like a tourist in Rio:

Can ducks be in my nail?

Yes, they can. HAHA I just pint a duck in my nail and I think that's cute although I'm not an artist. I'm trying, next time will be better.Well, I'm just freaking out this week because of the school. And now I'm just getting crazy because my dad said me yesterday that he didn't but only 4 luxury ducks for me on my birthday, he bought FIVE! One of them haven't arrived on time, when his friend were on the States, and the Duck just got lost there for all this time [note: my birthday was on august 2], I become really sad: how can my spring duck is doing alone in a place that I don't know? But now I received good news, my duck is coming TODAY! I'm so excited :DDD Probably I'll get him this week.

Totally changing the subject, today I realized that I've never post a pic of all of my collection, and here it is:

Picnic Day

Today we had a picnic, and it was really great. I've never been to this park before and it is so close from my house. We eat a lot, sing, sleep, walk, play. We had a lot of fun.

End of Vacations

Those are my last days of vacations :( On Monday I have to come back to school and my old routine, but that's ok, I was missing everything and because of this swine flu I had more two weeks of vacation, so that's more than the time to come back.

Now talking about the great things, My grandma come back from Italy after 2 months and she bring me those 6 beautiful rubber Ducks. Thanks nonnina.

Well, I think will not post a lot on those days, but I'll try. Ducks adventures never ends HAHA, and now thinking, I have more a weekend to do a duck adventure. What about a picnic? HAHA, It would be wonderful.

I have to go to the gym now. Quack kisses for all.

Happy fathers day

Today is fathers day here in Brazil and I want to wish Happinnes for all dad's on Earth.

I passed all day long with my dad [and my mom and sis.] and It was amazing.

Dad if weren't you I wouldn't exist and I want to thank you and say that you are my hero and I love you more than anything. I also want to thank my mother, with no mom there's no dad. HAHA

What a Duck Day

Yesterday I went to my friend Maria Thereza's House. We had a lot of fun there, also my Darling Duck had some fun.
He played on a swing with some "devil" friends.

Have some fun on the slide.

Admired the pool

Have some giant Ice Cream.

Relax on a lake.

Get angry with the message "Is not allowed to enter the on the lake"

Traveled in a balloon.

Explored some...Trees.

Learned a little.

And get some Chocolate fondue.

My friends are Mcfly fans, and they did a homage for them, and I did my own homage for my ducks. :)

I know it's a waste of chocolate but it was cool. HAHA

At the Shopping Mall

Yesterday I went to the shopping mall, and I took my purple evil duck with me, then we had a surprise, we found a Cow from Cow Parade there I've seen this before when it was in another shopping mall. We took some pics with the cow, and look it's a really "carioca" cow. HAHA

Ps.: Look at the huge hamburguer behind the cow, it seems really yummy.

Just to you know we saw Public Enemies, with Johnny Depp on the movies it's a wonderful movie I had a lot of fun, well I love Johnny he is really smart, funny and beautiful. HAHA OK I stopped.

Before we took pics with the cow we found a panel with this beautiful photo of Pão de açúcar(sugar loaf), I couldn't go there with ducks yet, but I hope to go this weekend.

The ducks is really small in compare with the picture, but...

Oh, I want to saw thanks to my friend Cris that held my little duck wile I was taking the picture.

My B-day

Yesterday was my birthday and I had a Duck party.



It was amazing, it was a kind of lunch, a barbecue, here in Brazil is very common.

I won 5 luxury ducks and 6 little devil ducks, I didn't have and of those bud but now I have and they're so CUTE *-* . Hope I win more every time someone travel to the States HAHAHA. Thanks mom and dad for this beautiful duck party.

Hello everyone.

Okay, that's my first post and I'll talk a little about me.

My name is Clara, I'm 16 and I live in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, The wonderful city. It could seems strange but I live in Rio and don't like beaches. I study and I want to be a doctor for a living, I know that is really difficult, but it's amazing. I collect rubber ducks as hobby and I've never heard about anyone in Brazil who does it, it's really difficult to find rubber ducks in Brazil, I think Brazilians don't like them, whatever I LOVE them. In this moment I have about 85 ducks, and I've never count the duck accessories.

I think my English is not perfect but I try, and I'll not write in Portuguese because most of the rubber duck collectors know English.

Here is a picture of my first rubber duck, his name is Astolfo, he was named after a fictitious duck that a friend of mine read about I found him while I was cleaning my attic and It was love at the first time I looked him.
